  “ What we do with old linen”  we recycle and here are some incredibly grateful associations we share our old linen with.

Back Mountain Ugly Quilters, PA meet every Wednesday morning at the Dallas United Methodist Church to make sleeping bags for the homeless,… And Yes! Our Old linen becomes warmth and comfort to the less fortunate.

The Quilters cut, sew and tie the quilts, using the sheets and towels donated,… We spread the warmth!

Dare County SPCA & Feline Hope ~ We donate to our “four legged abandon friends.”… Our linens make a ‘cage’ bed in shelters, a source of comfort, a little bit of warmth for the animals to lay their weary & tired heads down, … while they dream of  a new home to come! Woof! Woof! Purrrrrr!  Meow!

Salvation Army ~ We donate a minimum of 40 bags of sheets & towels each season to this very good caring cause.  The Salvation Army will find a good use for all donations  ……. As they say, ‘One man’s rubbish is another man’s Treasure’ So true for this organization, they will send the linen to people in natural disasters, i.e. Tsuami’s, Earthquakes etc., War ridden countries, to make ‘tent/shelters’ for the displaced and refugee’s.
